PRIVACY POLICY STATEMENT


In an effort to keep your shopping experience convenient, enjoyable and most importantly, safe; IGNITED PERFORMANCE PRODUCTS INC. is committed in protecting your privacy online. Below is a brief outline of our privacy policy.

INFORMATION COLLECTION AND USE 
IGNITED PERFORMANCE PRODUCTS INC. is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. When you shop on our website, we collect personal information from you such as name, address, email, phone number and/or credit card information. This information is used for billing purposes for filling customer's orders, contacting customers to inform them of order status and sending promotional information. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement. IGNITED PERFORMANCE PRODUCTS INC. collects information from our users at several different points on our website.

LOG FILES
We use IP addresses to analyze trends, administer the site, track user's movement within the site, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information. 

SHARING
We may share aggregated demographic information with our partners and advertisers. This is not linked to any personal information that can identify any person individually.

We use an outside shipping company to ship orders, and a credit card processing company to charge users for goods and services. These companies do not retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes.

These parties are not allowed to use personally identifiable information except for the purpose of providing these services.

SECURITY
IGNITED PERFORMANCE PRODUCTS INC. takes every precaution to protect our users' information. When users submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and off-line.

When our order form asks users to enter sensitive information (such as name, address, phone number, credit card information), that information is encrypted and is protected with the best encryption software in the industry, SSL. While on a secure page, such as our order form, the lock icon on the bottom of Web browsers such as Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer becomes locked, as opposed to un-locked, or open, when you are just 'surfing'. When you submit your order, the sensitive information is sent to our secure server that is retrieved only by authorized administrators via secure connection and pass worded logs.

While we use SSL encryption to protect sensitive information online, we also do everything in our power to protect user-information off-line. All of our users' information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted in our offices. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (i.e. for billing purposes or service representatives) are granted access to personally identifiable information. Our employees must use password-protected screen-savers when they leave their desk. When they return, they must re-enter their password to re-gain access to your information. Furthermore, ALL employees are kept up-to-date on our security and privacy practices. Every quarter, as well as any time new policies are added, our employees are notified and/or reminded about the importance we place on privacy, and what they can do to ensure our customers' information is protected.

NOTIFICATION OF CHANGES
If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes on our webpage so our users are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under circumstances, if any, we disclose it. If at any point we decide to use personally identifiable information in a manner different from that stated at the time it was collected, we would notify users by way of email. Users will have a choice as to whether or not we use their information in this different manner. We will use information in accordance with the privacy policy under which the information was collected.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ)


Q: Would I be solicited if I give you my e-mail address?
A: We at IGNITED PERFORMANCE PRODUCTS INC. understand how unwanted e-mail can be a nuisance. That is why we only send what our customers ask for. We will never release customer information to mailing lists. If our customers choose to be on our mailing list, we will only send those customers e-mails about special offers and/or new products. Please read our Privacy Policy for more info.


Q1: If I order from IGNITED PERFORMANCE PRODUCTS INC., would all items be shipped together?
A: All in stock items will normally ship together when physically possible. There maybe times when some items are temporarily out of stock. In an event like this, the customer will be contacted and will be given certain options such as: (a) waiting until the out of stock item becomes available again and shipping all items together, (b) shipping the in-stock items first and then shipping the out of stock items when they arrive, or (c) shipping the in-stock items and cancelling the order for items that are not in stock.


Q: How can I modify an order I already placed?
A: Yes, if the order has not shipped yet, we will gladly modify your order immediately by contacting us via email or phone at 416-410-2642.


Q: The part I ordered is not working properly, can't be installed or seems defective, what should I do next?
A: Warranty is handled by the manufacturer. In most cases, the problem can be solved by speaking with the manufacturer's technical support. If there is no solution via phone, you may be required to send in your item to the manufacturer for inspection. Upon inspection, the manufacturer will replace or repair the item in a timely fashion.


Q: How do I track my order?
A: You may submit an order status request via e-mail in reference to your order number to sales@ignitedperformance.com or contact us at 416-410-2642. Whenever an item is shipped, you will receive tracking information within 24hrs via e-mail. With this information, you can tracking your package and see the exact date your package will arrive.


Q: I need to return an item for refund, how do I do this?
A: Any item being returned must be accompanied by a RA number. You can obtain this RA number by contacting us via e-mail at sales@ignitedperformance.com or via phone at 416-410-2642. Any package without a RA number will be refused. All items must be new, never used or installed in original packaging for a refund. Restocking fees apply. Please read our Terms & Conditions for more information.


Q: If no one will be home to accept a package, what will happen?
A: If no one is home to accept the package, the driver may leave the package at your location if the driver's feels it is safe to do so. If the driver does not deem it safe, then a notice will be placed on your door stating that a another delivery attempt will be made the following business day. If another delivery attempt is not convenient, then you may contact the courier to arrange a suitable redelivery date, or request the package to be picked up at your local pick up location. 


Q: If I place an order and something is out of stock, what happens to the order?
A: We will contact you via phone and/or e-mail to discuss whether to wait for backorders to ship together, or to ship separately as soon as they are available. You will not be charged for any items which are on backorder until the item ships from our warehouse. Exceptions include deposits required for special ordered items.


Q: When will you charge my credit card for my order?
A: Our credit card processing system will charge your card as soon as an order is placed online. If an item is out of stock, we will refund the amount to your credit card. Exceptions include deposits required for special ordered items.

 

Q: What is the time limitation for notification of damage in transit or misship claims?
A. 

Damage in transit: If goods arrive in a damaged condition you must make contact the courier immediately and it will be your responsibility to inform us within 5 days from delivery.

Shortages: It is your responsibility to sign for the correct number of packages as shown on the carrier's delivery consignment note. Any shortages must be noted on the consignment note and it will be your responsibility to notify us within 5 days from delivery.

Incorrect Goods: It is your responsibility to notify us of any incorrect goods supplied immediately within 5 days from delivery and we will advise you of the correct procedure for rectifying this.

Non-Deliveries: You must notify us within 5 days from the expected delivery date. The courier is liable for lost packages and may take up to 8 business days for claim process to be completed until reshipment of your order is initiated.


Q: I have been sent the wrong item, how do we fix this problem?
A: It is your responsibility to notify us of any incorrect parts supplied within 5 days from delivery. The correct part will be shipped and a prepaid return label will be sent to you to return the incorrect part.


Q: I looked at a product awhile ago, and when I recently revisited the webpage the price and/or product has changed. Why did this happen?
A: All our prices and product listings are displays in real time. If any changes are made to the price or product, it will happen and be effective immediately. This allows us to bring you the most up to date information and pricing prior to you purchasing.

PRICES
All prices listed in our website, advertisement and/or catalog do not include shipping & handling charges. All prices and descriptions are subject to change without notice. Orders shipped to Ontario residents must include 8% Provincial Sales Tax (PST) and 5% Government Sales Tax (GST). Orders shipped to Canada, outside of Ontario must include 5% Government Sales Tax (GST).

 

TYPOGRAPHICAL ERRORS
In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to typographical error or error in pricing or product information received from the supplier or manufacturer, IGNITED PERFORMANCE PRODUCTS INC. shall have the right to refuse or cancel any order placed for product listed at the incorrect price. IGNITED PERFORMANCE PRODUCTS INC. shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such order whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card has been charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, IGNITED PERFORMANCE PRODUCTS INC. shall immediately issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the charge.


WARNING
All parts sold by IGNITED PERFORMANCE PRODUCTS INC. are racing parts for off road use only. Federal and many State or Provincial laws prohibit the removal, modification, or rendering inoperable of any device or element of design affecting the vehicle emission or safety in a vehicle used on public highways. Violation of such laws may subject the owner or user to a fine or penalty. Installation of this part may void the warranty coverage, if any, on your vehicle. IGNITED PERFORMANCE PRODUCTS INC. shall not be liable for any special, direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages that might be claimed as a result of the failure of any part, including claims for delay, loss of profits, or labor. IGNITED PERFORMANCE PRODUCTS INC. shall not be liable for any damage or injury to persons or property resulting from improper installation or misuse of any part. IGNITED PERFORMANCE PRODUCTS INC. will not cover any loss in profit or labor due to errors in shipping, mispackage, and/or extended delays for backorder items. IGNITED PERFORMANCE PRODUCTS INC. shall not be held accountable for any misconception or disappointment associated with any product.


SPECIAL ORDERS
IGNITED PERFORMANCE PRODUCTS INC. will determine special order items. All special ordered items must be prepaid before processing your order. Special ordered items cannot be cancelled or returned.


CANCELLATIONS
Any order which is cancelled with IGNITED PERFORMANCE PRODUCTS INC. after 24hrs from placement of order to the time of shipment will be subject to a cancellation fee of 6% (six percent).


PAYMENT
IGNITED PERFORMANCE PRODUCTS INC. accepts all major credit cards, payments made through PayPal (www.paypal.com), money orders, and certified checks payable to IGNITED PERFORMANCE PRODUCTS INC. All certified checks and money orders will be subject to a minimum of (14) fourteen-business day waiting period to clear with our bank. Orders will not be processed or shipped until this waiting period is over. Credit card fraud will not be tolerated. All orders paid by credit card must be shipped to the cardholder's billing address or verified alternate shipping address. Orders will NOT be shipped if the address provided does not match the records of the credit cardholder's bank. Please DO NOT send cash, as we are not responsible for any loss that may occur while in transit.


SHIPPING
All orders are shipped by either UPS or Canada Post/US Postal Service. In stock items usually ship within 24hrs after receipt of order. IGNITED PERFORMANCE PRODUCTS INC. does not guarantee on time delivery for out of stock items. Any expected shipment dates given to customer are approximate. Out of stock items will be placed on backorder. Backorder items will ship within 24hrs after becoming available.


REJECTION OF GOODS
As soon as the goods are delivered to Buyer, (s)he shall inspect them. Notice in writing must be given within five (5) days after receipt of goods of any defect or omissions. Failure to give notice within five (5) days after receipt shall constitute an irrevocable acceptance of the goods.


CLAIMS
Claim for defective goods, shortages, incorrect items, delays, or failures in shipment or delivery, or for any other cause, shall be deemed waived and released by Buyer, unless made in writing within five (5) days after the arrival of the goods.


RETURNS
All items returned are subject to a 25% (twenty-five percent) restocking fee. RETURNS ARE NOT ACCEPTED on special orders and custom orders. All other returns or exchanges are accepted within 30 days after date of invoice. All returns must be unused, in the same condition as sold to buyer and in its original packaging. Returned parts with missing packaging, instructions, or parts will be subject to a restocking fee. It is the customer’s responsibility to contact IGNITED PERFORMANCE PRODUCTS INC. within this time period to be eligible for a return. A (RA#) Return Authorization Number must be issued before returning product. You may contact us by way of telephone at 416-410-2642. A RA# must be clearly marked on return packages, otherwise package will be refused. The returned item(s) must be accompanied with a copy of the original invoice. No returns or exchanges will be allowed if the item shows signs of having been installed, scratched, damaged or modified. If IGNITED PERFORMANCE PRODUCTS INC. does not accept a returned item as being defective and/or returnable for any reason, the buyer must accept any incurred cost. It is the responsibility of the customer to verify the correct part before ordering and installing a particular part. IGNITED PERFORMANCE PRODUCTS INC. is not responsible for shipping costs incurred by the customer for returning products for return, refund, exchange, and/or warranty.


REFUNDS
A refund, exchange or core return will not be made until all items are returned to IGNITED PERFORMANCE PRODUCTS INC. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. Orders placed by credit card will be refunded to the same credit card account only. All other non-credit card orders will be refunded by either company check or store credit. Refused shipments sent back to IGNITED PERFORMANCE PRODUCTS INC. do not constitute a refund or credit. IGNITED PERFORMANCE PRODUCTS INC. reserve the right to charge the customer shipping & handling costs for the refused shipment and a 25% restocking fee.

WARRANTY POLICY

All products sold by IGNITED PERFORMANCE PRODUCTS INC. are subject to a limited manufacturer’s warranty. Manufacturer warranty will not be honored if the customer’s mishandling, abuse or faulty installation causes the defect.


Lighting Division

HID products and components are covered under a 1-year replacement warranty from the date of purchase. This is limited to ballasts, igniters, xenon bulbs, relay wiring harnesses, and “lamp out” modules. It is the responsibility of the customer to determine which component(s) of their HID system are malfunctioning. Halogen products are covered under a 3-month replacement warranty from the date of purchase.


Switch Division

Switch products are covered under a 6-month replacement warranty from the date of purchase. This is limited to toggle switches, momentary switches, start buttons, purge buttons, switch covers, and wireless controls.


Gauge Division

Gauge products are covered under a 6-month replacement warranty from the date of purchase. This is limited to 52mm gauges, 60mm gauges, and sensors.


If a product becomes defective within the warranty period, the customer must contact IGNITED PERFORMANCE PRODUCTS immediately to determine if they are eligible for a warranty exchange. You may contact us by way of telephone at 416-410-2642. To validate warranty, customers must show proof of product registration (applies to HID products only) and original purchase invoice. To claim warranty, customers must purchase the replacement part(s) first. IGNITED PERFORMANCE PRODUCTS INC. is not responsible for shipping costs incurred by the customer for warranty. The replacement part(s) will be shipped to the customer with a pre-paid shipping label and a (RA#) Return Authorization Number to return the defective part(s). A refund for the amount of the replacement part(s) will be made once all defective items are returned to IGNITED PERFORMANCE PRODUCTS INC.

WHAT IS CID, CVV2?

For your protection, we ask that you supply an extra 3-4 digit (CID, CVV2  number). The CID, CVV2  are extra numbers printed on your credit card.

Visa, MasterCard, Discover
The card validation number is printed on your Visa, MasterCard & Discover cards in the signature area of the back of the card. (it is the last 3 digits AFTER the credit card number in the signature area of the card).

American Express
American Express cards show the card validation number printed above and to the right of the imprinted card number on the front of the card.

SALES TAX & TAX EXEMPTIONS

Sales Tax
Our company resides in the province of Ontario. We are required by law to collect sales tax for any order shipped within the province of Ontario and/or Canada.

Tax Exemption
All orders shipped outside of Canada are tax exempt.

SHIPPING OPTIONS AND DETAILS

Shipping Options

We package each order with care using quality corragated boxes and packaging materials. Our primary shipping service is UPS. UPS Ground service (1-5 business days) for in-stock items. For faster shipment, you may select Next Day, 2nd Day, or 3 Day Air. 


Free Shipping
Certain products may be on special offering free shipping. This offer is limited to UPS Ground service. These items marked for free shipping must be purchased individually. During checkout, you must select the shipping option that states "Free Shipping." If you select any type of air shipping method, normal shipping fees will apply. 


Additional Shipping details: 
We do not ship on weekends and holidays.

DEALER INQUIRIES

Dealer Requirements

Any company who would like to be apart of our wholesale program must show proof of commercial business. Your company must be related in the automotive aftermarket parts and accessories industry. Your company must have a commercial establishment either warehouse, showroom, installation shop and/or office. A valid main company phone number is required (no cell phones) in order to verify proof of business.


Submit Proof of Business

You must fax your company's valid business license and/or occupational license, sales use & tax certificate, letterhead and business card to 416-410-2642. The fax must include complete company name, address, phone & fax number, e-mail and a list of authorized purchasers.


Buy-in Requirements

After approval of your submission, we will e-mail or fax you our price guides. Initial order must be a minimum of $1000.00.


Dealer Payments

Credit Card only. NO COD.


Drop ships

We offer a drop ship service with your company name on the package to your customer. A $6.00 drop ship fee will be applied per shipment.
